Life does go on.
No matter what has happened during the day, when you fall asleep and wake up the next, life continues.
No matter how much we wish for life to cease, to be rid of it, to escape it all, to be free from it, get it over with; if it is not yet our time, or unless we force it to end, it goes on.
Continuing with life would have been easier if there was a set standard that could satisfy everyone's search for a purpose. A guideline wherein if you complete tasks that you choose, they can lead you to happiness, to fulfillment.
Alas, life inherently has no meaning. It is up to each individual to make what life is.

Life gets to a point wherein you don't exactly know what you want or what you need to do. It gets monotonous. You wake up, you take a shower, get dressed, get to work. Have lunch, get back to work, get off from work, then get home. Get your paycheck, buy crap that you don't really need, spend that paycheck on more crap that nobody gives a rat's ass about. Nothing excites you anymore. And even if something does, you know inside that it is only temporary, a fleeting reaction that does not even constitute anything anymore.
Life right now is full of different distractions, none with "true" value. Distractions meant to give "meaning" to exist
